Most recently, Bandai Namco released a new trailer for the upcoming game that is all about the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. The preview features narration from the series’ favorite villain, Vegeta, as he reflects on his struggle to reach the level of power that Goku obtained naturally. The latest trailer mostly showed a montage of several gameplay clips focused on Goku but it also included several of the iconic villains in the Dragon Ball Z series.
Several weeks ago, another trailer was also released by Bandai Namco that featured the original English narrator of the anime series. The latest preview definitely brought nostalgia to longtime Dragon Ball Z fans, which also proved Bandai Namco’s dedication to make the upcoming game a faithful retelling of the Dragon Ball Z story.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to release on January 17, 2020, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
