Like Padisarah, Dandelions can be found in specific places around the game world. In fact, one of the best places to find Dandelions is over in the fields near the city of Mondstadt. This is one of the first areas that you’ll encounter in Genshin Impact, and thus anybody can farm these important Ascension Materials when they are needed. You can also find them all over Starfell Valley, though as noted above, outside Mondstadt is one of the best places to look.
As noted above, Ascension Materials are used to upgrade different characters. Dandelion Seeds are useful for ascending Eula and Jean, and they can also be used in certain items.
Once you have spotted the lush white plants out in the world, you’re going to need to actually pull the seeds from them. To do this, you need to cast an Anemo power on the Dandelion. This will spawn a wind attack, allowing you to basically blow the Dandelion Seeds loose. From there, you can easily gather them up and then use them in crafting an ascension.
If you aren’t a fan of grinding for your crafting materials, you can also purchase Dandelion Seeds outright from the merchant Karpillia. This NPC is found over in Ritou, Inazuma, and she sells five Dandelion Seeds for around 60,000 Mora. The stock that Karpillia offers is quite low, though she will renew it every few days.
